Gill was born and raised in Liverpool where she studied sculpture at the Liverpool College of Art for five years. As a sculptor her inspiration has always been movement, often catching a fleeting moment in time. Birds in particular have a special fascination for her, exemplifying grace and beauty. She works from small maquettes to life size pieces. Her work is cast at the Livingstone Art Founders where over 350 of her pieces have been cast.
