Inspired by sea life, nature and food, Lucy’s work has a graphic quality to it, combining watercolour painting with printmaking techniques.
Drawing is an essential part of her practice as it allows her time to investigate and understand a subject – many of which are connected to personal experiences. She is particularly interested in how our senses can create strong memories through taste, texture, and smell.
Lucy has a degree in textiles, from West Surrey College of Art & Design in Farnham, where she specialised in screen and block printed fabrics.
